As fully devoted followers of Christ, we are commanded  to make disciples (Mt. 28:19).  It is a privilege to carry this command out through our labors here at home, as well as through our giving in partnership with  missionaries all over the world. This conference is an opportunity to be an encouragement to our missionaries, and to be challenged to  become more fully devoted to our mission.  I pray Cornerstone Baptist Church will grow in our passion for people both here at home, and around the world!

Love in Christ,
Dan Brower 1 Cor. 10:31

ANDREW AND ANGIE EVEN...

along with their children Dylan, Diego and Reece, serve with MANNA in Central and South America.  Andrew grew up in Chile as a missionary’s kid and Angie is from Fort Worth, TX.  They met in Bible College and have been married since 2000.  The Even’s sending church is Hallmark Baptist in Fort Worth and they began their missionary service in Chile.  It was during this time that MANNA helped them start a feeding center in their church in Santiago.  The MANNA center became a vital part of this church and helped the Evens realize the effectiveness of MANNA as a church-planting tool.  They now serve throughout Central and South America with MANNA.  Andrew and Angie have seen God use their gifts and experience to help start many churches along with feeding centers, orphanages, clinics and schools.  They also lead hundreds of people each year to go serve in these projects.

Chad & Jennifer each grew up in a pastor’s home. We both felt a leading to missions at an early age. After attending Baptist Bible College we took a Missions Intern position at Stillwell Bible Baptist in Clarksville, Arkansas. While on staff we led the student ministry, and directed     several mission trips in our 14 years of ministry at Stillwell as we waited on God’s timing. In 2016 God opened the doors and we arrived in Costa Rica. In 2019 we have just completed a 2 year term in Costa Rica as TEAM missionaries, and are transitioning to career missionaries to continue church planting in Costa Rica.

We have had a burden on our hearts to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ since the day of our conversion (Miranda at the age of 7 in 2003 and Chris at the age of 16 in 2009). After getting married in 2014, our burden grew and we knew that God was leading us to be missionaries to the unreached people of the world. That burden was soon focused on Japan when we met the McCown’s, missionaries to Japan, at our missions conference in 2015, and learned that Japan is the largest unreached people group in the world.  We pray that God would burden the hearts of many more to join us in our efforts of reaching Japan!

Missions is a process not a program, and it is the call of every believer to develop a “Passion for People”. This process involves worshiping God, loving others, serving God, and fulfilling the Great Commission from Cornerstone to the world. Come and see how you can join us in igniting a deep “Passion for People!”
“For ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching to them? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News!’”
- Romans 10:13-15

The heart of missions at Cornerstone is Faith Promise.
Our wonderful people give generously to support missions and ministries around the world.
This giving is over and above the regular giving, and by God’s grace, the sun never sets on the work of Faith Promise dollars.
Faith Promise represents a commitment from our People to meeting global needs, and provides financial support by which Cornerstone funds its own direct involvement in taking the Gospel into all the world.

In 2018 our church members gave $148,426 to Missions.
Your help in Faith Promise is a sweet aroma of Christ in us to our partners, and to those who are perishing without the Gospel.
We’re excited to see the fruits of our giving in the upcoming years!
Ask God what he would have you commit to give over the next year during our World Outreach Celebration this year.
